Cyonix wins contract with Civic Action
Cyonix is proud to announce they have joined forces with London based Civic Action and Poptech to develop a web presence for 'WOMEN into public life'. The concept is a Tower Hamlets campaign to encourage more women in the community to increase the number of woman involved in public life roles.
The website will be an online version of the existing 'WOMEN into public life' hard copy publication. 'WOMEN into public life' provides a platform and support for woman of all ethic and social backgrounds to participate at all levels of Public life
Councilor Denise Jones says…
"Tower Hamlets is a wonderfully diverse place to live and work. Many women are already helping to shape their community in a variety of different ways. From policy making to service delivery Contributing to public life is different from being employed by the public sector; public life activity is usually a voluntary (although sometimes your expenses are covered) act that values and displays a commitment to the common good of the community"
The website aims to inspire through profiles and case studies of women residing in the borough of Tower Hamlets who are already making a difference in Public life. Users will be able to access a variety of media formats to view the inspirational profiles, including video and audio. Registered users will have access to forums to create and contribute to social networks.
Poptech's accredited Siteframework Software will be used to build the website.
